FEW HAVE DISCOVERED THIS BIBLE VERSE !!
Once we become Christians the quality of our Christian life depends on two things. Our knowledge of the Bible, and our faith in God’s Word therein. Some may respond ‘what about our relationship with God?’ Jesus mysteriously identified Himself with the Bible in the Book of Hebrews 10:7 Then I (Jesus)said, ‘Behold, I have come — In the volume of the book it is written of Me — To do Your will, O God.’ He was meaning the actual physical Bible here when He said ‘the volume of the Book’. Jesus always included the Word of God in His relationship with His Father.
It’s the same with us. The quality of our relationship with The Father, The Son’ and the Holy Spirit, and the successful Christian life, depends on our knowledge of the Bible, and our faith in it as God’s Word. When you think about it what do you have if every aspect of your life is not based on an understanding of the Bible? Our own imaginations. A very dodgy foundation!
The passage of my title is Hebrews 10:1–4: (NKJB) For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.
