No that wpuld not be true. I had a lot of problems when I came to the Lord. Once you have received a pure heart and you are a genuine Christian it is actually quite difficult to sin. (for want of a better way of saying it) Mistakes and faults are not sin. Sin really involves evil. God is not sitting there with His law pad waiting for us to sin. If I become aware I have disobeyed the Lord or offended somebody when it was my fault, I don't start to evaluate whether I've sinned or made a mistake or whatever. I repent of it - which means learning from the mistake and moving in a better direction.

T L Osborn had a simple philosophy for that sort of thing. When asked about sinning he replied "It is not my will to do anything wrong, (his inner man) if it comes to my attention I have done wrong I repent of it and carry on".

Then we have that mystery verse in 1John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God. Verses 5-9 of that chapter repeat that theme. bi
