What is NETSH?
NETSH is one of the most powerful yet least known networking tools included with Windows. It is installed by default in all windows systems from 2003 onwards.
It is not necessary to understand the deep mysteries of netsh to get the benefits. This article will give you five netsh addresses and one other address you can apply to make a difference in the operation of your computer. Your computer is a few years old? Pages are slow to load, videos won’t play, plus other assorted frustrations?
Here is what you do: Type CMD in the task bar search box or the Cortana search box. That will bring up Command Prompt. A box will appear beside the search result. Failing that right click Command prompt. In both cases you will see a comand ‘run administrator’. Click that and a black page/box will appear.
At the flashing cursor type your first netsh address — netsh int ip reset — you will instantly get confirmation of the reset. You will then need to restart your computer.
Go through the process again to get the black page. Your next netsh is — netsh i i r r — type that in and hit enter. A short confirmation will appear. Do not restart…
