To be honest a lot of what you have described in this article seems (so far to me) un necessary because the same meanings can be picked up from the English. I refer to original languages to give a bit more of the meaning of a text. Because more words than one are often required to give meaning to a Greek or Hebrew word. Much the same as the original Amplified Bible did. The AB is is about as deep into languages as I want to go. I am not so keen on the new one.

As I said before I am all about making all teaching understandable to the guy and girl, who like me, came off the street into Christianity. If I knew mostly new Christians were reading my articles They would be much more simple than they are. You seem to have a high IQ - could that be some of the reason why you write as you do? Years ago when the Living Bible first came out, I began to see guys in the construction industry where I was working ,and others, with that translation in their cars etc. It reached a lot of people because of its everyday language.

I may have scotched our email interactions right here !!! ha ha bi
